Near the end of last year I was looking for a new project pony and my instructor, Courtney came across the perfect one - Lacey.

We went to see her at a show earlier this year.  It was Lacey's first ever show yet she looked like she'd been to a million.

I met Lacey's owner Leah @that.grey.kaimanawa who was very lovely and answered all my questions.  We bought her and since then I have been working with Lacey and teaching her to be a great kids pony - which issn't very hard. She is a very chill, playful pony (and the only one of my ponies I could ride with my broken collarbone!)

Lacey is a 13.3hh, 6-year-old Kaimanawa mare who was mustered in from the wild in 2021. She has made me smile and laugh every single day.
